![]() Has anyone else witnessed this in the last few days? It seems as though Adobe has put out an update that somehow combines Reader/full DC into a single install, and have applied this change to existing installs somehow without any kind of UAC/admin prompt. Install time was just a few days ago, which the user definitely didn't do themselves (no admin privileges). The MSI codes for it and Acrobat Reader itself aren't listed in Apps/Features anymore - it's just gone, and Adobe Acrobat DC is installed instead. ![]() and the title bar reads "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC." I went and had a look at a few users' machines and noticed they now had Adobe Acrobat DC (the pro/licensed version which we don't deploy to everyone) installed instead, and Reader was gone! But then we opened it. It's a required install for all our devices that's there from the start - so I was pretty confused. ![]() To ensure you are not opening the PDF file within the web browser - download the PDF file to your computer and open it directly in Adobe Reader DC.Had a mild heart attack this morning when our Intune deployment for Acrobat Reader suddenly had dozens of failures across our whole fleet. This option is not currently available when using the build-in PDF readers in web browsers.
